Glucoamylase HGA-130

A unique glucoamylase enables to save saccharifying time and processing costs considerably, increase glucose yield and eliminate reverse reaction in the starch sugar industry.

DESCRIPTION

HGA-130 is a non-GMM glucoamylase produced from controlled fermentation of classic strains of Aspergillus niger. It can catalyze the release of glucose units from the non-reducing ends of soluble dextrins by hydrolyzing α-1,4 glucoside linkages and also slowly hydrolyzing α-1,6 glucoside linkages.

HGA-130 does not contain glucosidase, thus enables high starch-to-sugar conversion rate.

APPLICATION AND BENEFITS

Use of HGA-130 can be beneficial to the production of starch sugar as follows:

  • Capable to handle various starchy substrates incl. corn , wheat , cassava , potato, etc.

  • Reduce saccharification time and processing costs

  • Improve saccharification efficacy

  • Increase glucose yield

DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION

Typical dosage of HGA-130 is at a level of 0.3∼0.6kg/TDS. The exact dosage depends on the actual processing conditions such as raw materials, temperature, reaction time, pH and the desired results of the individual plant.

PACKAGING, STORAGE & SHELF-LIFE

  • Standard packaging is 25kg, 30kg food-grade HDPE plastic drums or 1125 kg IBC totes. Customized packaging is available upon request.

  • Typical shelf-life is six months if this product is stored below 25°C in its original packaging, sealed and unopened, protected from direct sunlight.

  • Its shelf-life will be eighteen months provided being stored properly at 0∼10°C.

  • This enzyme has been formulated for optimal stability. Prolonged storage and/or adverse conditions such as higher temperatures may lead to a higher dosage requirement, thereore should be avoided.

SAFE HANDLING OF ENZYMES

Inhalation of enzyme dust and mists should be avoided. In case of contact with skin or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. For detailed handling information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
