Acid Protease AP-100S

Product Description

Description
Acid Protease AP-100S is produced from strains of Aspergillus niger through submerged fermentation and a whole series of extraction and refining process. It can catalyze the hydrolysis of proteins under acidic conditions, thus has found its wide application in the animal feed industry.

Benefits
Use of AP-100S offers the following benefits to animal feed industry:
Hydrolyze proteins in feeds and accelerate the degradation of proteins in the intestinal tract;
Supplement endogenous enzymes that are usually deficient in young animals, thus help the digestion of nutrients contained in feeds;
Destroy the cell walls of feed pellets and maximize the utilization of feed nutrients

Product Characteristics
Declared Enzyme: Acid Protease
Systemic Name: EC 3.4.23.18
Activity: 100,000 U/ml (minimum)
Appearance: Sepia brown liquid
pH: 2.5∼5.0

Effect of pH
AP-100S can work at pH from 2.0 to 6.0, with its optimal pH from 2.5 to 3.5 (See Figure 1).

Effect of Temperature
AP-100S can work at temperatures from 30 to 65℃, with its optimal temperatures from
40 to 50℃ (See Figure 2).
Dosage Guidelines
AP-100S can be used as feed additive. It can convert proteins contained in the feeds into peptides, thus help the digestion and absorption of proteins in animals.
In the feed compound enzyme, AP-100S is usually added at a dosage level of 0.01∼0.05kg/ton.
In the production of protein feeds, AP-100S is added to the sterilized and cooled mash, mixed
well and fermented in the tank. Use of AP-100S can increase the protein content by 4∼10%.
The recommended dosage of AP-100S is 0.1∼0.2L/ton of raw material.

Packaging
AP-100S is packaged in 25kg, 30kg HDPE drums or 1125kg IBC totes. Customized packaging is available upon request.

Storage & Shelf-life
  • Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and humidity during transportation.
  • The storage room should be kept clean, cool and dry, preferably with air-conditioner.
  • Shelf-life is twelve months provided this product is stored at 0∼25°C in its original packaging, sealed and unopened, protected from direct sunlight.

Safe Handling of Enzymes
Inhalation of enzyme dust and mists should be avoided. In case of contact with skins or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. For detailed handling information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
