Neutral Cellulase NC-080D
Category:
Product Description
Description
Neutral cellulase NC-080D is produced from strains of Trichoderma reesei through submerged fermentation, extraction and refining process. It is an endo-1,4-β-D- glucanase that can specifically hydrolyze the messy tiny fibers on the surface of the fabrics without damaging the fiber backbone.
NC-08D is applicable to bio-polishing of cotton, linen and other natural cellulose fiber fabrics and regenerated cellulose fiber fabrics. Use of NC-080D helps to maintain good fabric strength, thick hand feel, and clear texture that give high-quality fabric surface.

Usage Guidelines
The following guidelines are based on conventional processes and production conditions. Due to the difference in local water quality and fabrics used, the optimal dosage rate needs to be determined after experiments and trials to meet the desirable effects.

Dosage:
|
0.1∼0.5% (o.w.f)
|
Bath ratio:
|
5: 1∼20: 1, depending on equipment
|
Temperature:
|
45∼65°C
|
Time:
|
30∼60 minutes (depending on the actual processing requirements)
|
pH :
|
5.5 ∼ 7.0
|
Inactivation:
|
Option 1: Adjust pH to 10 by adding sodium carbonate solution, or
heat to above 80℃ and keep for at least 10 minutes . Option 2: If treatment with dyeing in the same bath, adding alkaline into reactive dyes to fasten the colour can inactive the enzyme |
Enzymatic-washing
Equipment: Industrial Washing Machine (600 lbs)
Enzyme dosage: about 100g
Time: 10∼30 minutes
In general, the pH value does not need to be adjusted, and the enzyme can be added
directly. The light and thin fabrics can be washed with enzyme for 10 minutes, whilst the
washing time for thick fabrics can be extended appropriately so as to prevent excessive action.

Packaging, Storage and Shelf-life
-
Typical packaging is 25kg, 30kg HDPE plastic drums, or 1125kg IBC totes.
-
Recommended storage : 0∼25°C
-
Shelf-life is six months in its original packaging, sealed and unopened, protected from the direct sunlight. Prolonged storage and/or adverse conditions such as higher temperatures may lead to a higher dosage requirement.
Safe Handling of Enzymes
Inhalation of enzyme dust and mists should be avoided. In case of contact with the skin or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. For detailed handling information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
